IPAD

My ipad screen is locked I cant put in code nor does touch recognize fingerprint. When I connect to pc it say unlock ipad What can be done?

Got from friend. When screen completely frozen; Hold down on/off button down (when you get slide to shut off) hold home button down. Continue to hold both buttons for 20-30 seconds. Should reset

Hi,

I would recommend placing your iPad in recovery mode to erase and restore via iTunes on a Mac or PC.

This will erase the device as well as reinstall the latest version of iPadOS, and should resolve your issue.

If you can't update or restore your iPhone or iPod touch
