Hello,

With any new version of iOS there are always maintenance and re-indexing tasks to be performed. It should settle down in a few days. These are the standard steps for short battery life

1) Have you tried a restart?  If not, do it now.

2) Go to Settings > Battery > BATTERY USAGE BY APP to see the apps that are consuming your battery.

3) Check “Battery Health” in the link:

iPhone Battery and Performance

4) If all else fails, consider a battery replacement:

iPhone Battery & Power Repair

Good luck.

Apple’s response to iPhone 7 users problems with update 15.2.1 is unacceptable

my battery was replaced by an authorized dealer on the 28 /12/2021

since I updated my phone with the 15.2.1 not only is the battery draining but my phone is not charging

I am going between 15 and 1 % only after hours of charging

I guess that’s what the 15.2.1 means

can we be allowed to go back to our previous operating system until the quirks are ironed out as our phones cannot be used at present

please assist
