Yes, I’m telling you it’s normal… It happens on all the [recent] iPhones I have to hand. It is doing a lot of processing on the photos (or videos). Once you close the camera, if the phone starts to cool down, that proofs the theory…

Yes it’s normal. iPhone 13 uses computational photography to improve the quality of your Photos. If you watch some of the various Apple events over the years you will see the processes that recent models of iPhone perform to your Photos in order to improve the quality. So then of course, that is hard work for the processor.
Well iPhone is passively cooled as it doesn’t use have a fan, so if it gets too hot, you may notice a performance decrease temporarily to protect the SoC.
But a lot of mobile games may not take advantage of the phone’s power, and since A15 is more efficient than previous generation SoCs, it finds them easy to run. Try playing something like Genshin Impact with the settings turned up. You’ll feel the heat!
Ohh okay I see, that's a relief. Thank you!
But one more thing, even if I'm using it for like 2mins. It's like warming up like charging my phone. Sorry because that's bothering me. Because I only got my iphone a month ago and its surprising that my iphone is warming up while using the camera rather than I'm playing games on my phone.
Well thanks again! So you're telling me that its normal that my iphone heating up when continuously using the camera?
Thanks a lot man! Really appreciate it.
by the way man. If I accidentally sat my iphone in the bed for 3secs will it break easily?
