Using iphone 13 camera

my iphone 13 is warming up when I'm using the camera. Is it normal?

Yes, I’m telling you it’s normal… It happens on all the [recent] iPhones I have to hand. It is doing a lot of processing on the photos (or videos). Once you close the camera, if the phone starts to cool down, that proofs the theory…

Well iPhone is passively cooled as it doesn’t use have a fan, so if it gets too hot, you may notice a performance decrease temporarily to protect the SoC.


But a lot of mobile games may not take advantage of the phone’s power, and since A15 is more efficient than previous generation SoCs, it finds them easy to run. Try playing something like Genshin Impact with the settings turned up. You’ll feel the heat!
