when ever I try to run a game not 10 seconds into it everything freezes and I can't even force quit I either wait for it to restart itself and get bugged audio or I hold the power button and shut down my laptop it started happening after I updated to macOS Monterey I've also erased all content on this laptop (twice now to see if it would fix the problem) but nothing I would appreciate all help, many thanks in advance

the first one was a bit funky as it did solve the problem but disabled the wifi on my laptop and once I reset it it stopped working again (lowered security to medium) the 2nd one did literally nothing (I think) cuz I didn't hear the 2nd startup sound however the 3rd one after doing the power button thing (didn't reset the smc just did the power button thing) the game I was using as a test (people Playground) was working don't know if the performance was affected but its still good (consistent with past tests) the issue is as good as solved so I will not reset my smc unless I need to thank you so much for the help I hope people with the same issue find this as this was a real pain to fix
