I backed up my system using Carbon Copy Cloner and then did a fresh install. What I didn't do is unhide my user library before the backup. Now I need to access that folder on the backup drive but I can't figure out how or if it's even possible to do so. Any suggestions? I am trying to grab some preference files and that's it.

Use the Command-Shift-Period toggle, and see what shows up in Finder.

Navigate to your home folder on the backup, choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, and provide Library as the path.
