on my phone, when I am using safari for tabs, on my mac, the handoff is showing as google chrome. then, none of my browsing history is synced on my mac, despite having all the right settings selected (safari for sync, chrome for sync, latest update) My phone history isn't showing up on chrome or safari. I want to view my browsing history from my iPhone on my mac.

Hi chel192,

We see Safari works as expected on your iPhone, however when attempting to use Handoff between your iPhone and Mac, the Mac reads the browser as Chrome and thus doesn't sync properly.

To aid us in isolating this issue, can you confirm if macOS Monterey is fully updated? Check here for updates, then test if the issue persists:

Also, is Chrome installed on either device? As a troubleshooting step, if it is, take a moment to uninstall / delete it and then try to the replicate the issue again.

Let us know the results.

Cheers!
