Apple watch speakers

Can I even listen to any type of music/podcasts through the speakers of my apple watch rather than connecting the watch to a Bluetooth headset? I have been trying very hard with no success.

I don't think he misunderstood your question at all. If you are hoping to listen to music or a podcast from the teeny tiny speaker directly built into the watch, you can't. You'll need to use a Bluetooth headphone for that.

I think you misunderstood my query. I am unable to listen to anything through my Series 7 Apple Watch which I bought just days ago. Even if I select ‘Apple Watch’ from Airplay, I can hear no sound. Just wondering if there’s something wrong with my watch?

No. Bluetooth headphones or speakers only.

And doing so would drain your tiny Apple Watch battery very quickly.
