Apple Music (itunes) not working

Hello,


I installed Apple music on my linux (mint) laptop but now get the following


Item not available in your country.
Try switching back to your account's registered storefront.


I have signed out, signed in again.

Store is set to correct store and all my other devices are playing fine.

Region settings on laptop also seems correct.


Any suggestions?

Thank you for reaching out about Apple Music not working as expected, we would love to help. Does this happen with all songs, or only specific one? Did you recently change countries? Simply using safe mode may resolve this issue. Here are the steps we’ll need to take to do so: How to use safe mode on your Mac


After the device boots into safe mode, try to reproduce the problem. If safe mode does not work, or the restart after a successful boot into safe mode does not work, please contact us back with the results so we can troubleshoot further.

Thank you for the feedback. I am still getting the same issue.

Just to mention it again, I am trying to run Apple music on my Linux mint machine.


In apple music when I go to settings it is set to the correct region (South Africa).

I havent changed anything on my profile - this is a new install on Linux.

No songs work.


My Apple music on all my other devices work correctly.
