Horrible Macbook Air FaceTime "HD" camera (2020, M1)

Has Apple released any information about this issue? I purchase my Macbook Air the weekend of Jan. 8th 2022 and I just tried using the camera and I looked blurry. At first, I thought the camera was smudgy so I cleaned it but no change. I was genuinely shocked because before this purchase I had the 2015 Macbook Air and its camera is way better than what's on this new device. I tried using Zoom as well and I got the same result. On Apple's website, the company claims the camera is a Facetime "HD" camera but this is not what is on here. Is it my particular device? I started to google and I found this thread. Has anyone found a solution?
