Can calling a phone number trigger a malware instillation onto my iPhone?

Yesterday I almost fell for a phishing scam. I received a text on my iPhone claiming I was in debt and I called the number listed in the text message but then hung up before giving the person on the other end of the call any information. I am now however worried that even calling that number may have triggered an installation of malware onto my iPhone, is that possible? Thanks for your time 🙏

No, however; you need to report this to your service provider and Apple by calling 1-800-MY-APPLE. 
