I am trying to connect Apple TV 4K to a 2017 Samsung MU8000 series TV through the one connect device. When the TV final found Apple TV the screen continuously flashes on and off. I unplugged and restarted and now it is not finding the Apple TV device at all. Please help.

Please follow the steps in Set up your Apple TV - Apple Support, you will note there is nothing in there about a Connect One device. This means you should not connect the Apple TV's HDMI cable to the Connect One device, it should be connected directly to the HDMI input on your Samsung TV.
What I found for the Connect One device for a Samsung MU8000 TV was the following, "The One Connect box allows you to connect your cable or satellite box or video game system to your TV"
An Apple TV is a streaming device and the Connect One makes no mention of supporting streaming devices.

Thank you for the response, this TV doesn’t have the HDMI on the back and does look like it will work with the one connect thing. Best, Nick
It is just an HDMI port… The Connect One is just a breakout box for all of the TV’s ports.

According to Samsung, the MU8000 has 4 HDMI ports.
