iOS15 alarms not going off while using AirPlay

I have an iPad that is used for school, specifically in a primary school classroom. Prior to the iOS15 update, I was able to mirror and have my alarms go off to let me know when my students needed to go to see other support staff. Since the iOS15 update though, my *new* alarms will auto silence whenever I'm mirroring, but my *old* alarms still work as they did before.

Has anyone encountered this and been able to get their new alarms to sound? Thanks in advance!

Hello Kohgo,

Thanks for reaching out using Apple Support Communities!

We understand your new alarms are not going off as expected while you mirror your iPad.

Are you using the latest OS version when this happens? Try here to Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Then set another alarm and see if the same thing happens: Set an alarm on iPad - Apple Support

Restarting your devices might also help resolve the issue.

We hope this helps get your alarms working as expected again.

Cheers!

Device is updated, I've tried restarting the device -- after setting a new alarm nothing sounds on this device when the alarm is meant to go off, I've watched it automatically turn the alarm off. Only the alarms that were set prior to the iOS15 update will work as expected while connected to an AppleTV via AirPlay.
