Best way to add more USB ports

Two options:

Just get a basic powered multiport USB hub. The one I have is likely over kill for your needs but you'll get the idea of what I am talking about:

It has a couple dedicated USB fast charge ports.

The other option, if you are not using the Thunderbolt/USB4 ports, is to get a USB-C to USB-A female adapter and plug it into one of those ports.

get an usb ac powered hub that connect to your usb port in my mac

if you can find a thunderbolt connectable usb hub it would be much much more expensive

If you get a hub similar to what I have, you make one connection to the existing USB-A port and can plug everything else into the hub, which may make things more convenient to access.

If you simply need one more port, then you can simply use my second suggestion.
