How to add Office365 Exchange shared mail accounts with MFA on MacOS Monterey Mail 15.0 ?

Hello,

As the title says, how can I add an shared email account with MFA that is on Office365 Exchange?

So I have my account to login on Microsoft Office365, that is the user, then I have access to about 10 other shared mail accounts, on Outlook is pretty forward, just add email I want and then login with my account, but for Mail I can only add the main account (user) that has previous accepted by admin, but the shared ones, every time I change the mail for login, it says already exists or gives error if I try with different email.

I tried both [Microsoft Exchange] (through Configure Manually and Sign In) and [Other Mail Account...] options.

On previous version MacOS Big Sur & Mail 14, I could access because we didn't have MFA activated, but for obvious security reasons has been activated and now I can only access through Ms Outlook.

How can I configure or there is no way around?

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 12.1

Hello Lissy_12,

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I need assistance with Office365 Exchange (with SHARED accounts) assistance.

The support article does not help at all.

Due to security, most companies adopted MFAuthentication, but looks like Mail OSX didn't follow this security feature to help users.

As I stated on first post, I am able to add all accounts if I don't activate MFA on Microsoft side. This is an Mail OSX problem (that I hoped to be resolved on Monterey), not Exchange Server administrator.

Once again, thank you for your reply.

Have a great day too
