Changed password says it changed but when I go in to enter it it’s saying failed passcode

If you have iPadOS 15.2 or later you can reset your forgotten iPad Passcode using your AppleID and associated Password and the following explains how to do this.

If your iPad has an older version of iPadOS or is disabled, you will need to connect your iPad to a PC or Mac and the following link explains what to do:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211078
If you do not have a PC or Mac you could use a family or friends PC or Mac or visit an Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider for your Country.
You can also contact Apple Support.
