Grey/dark spots on MacBook Pro M1 14" Display

Has anyone else experienced this? These suddenly showed up yesterday after I opened the lid on my MBP in the morning. It had been charging overnight on my desk as per my usual routine. Nothing placed on top of it or anything like that. There are nine I can count, they are most noticeable on light background, but can also see on solid darker backgrounds. I have contacted apple support and performed initial troubleshooting, but have a Genius Bar appt in a couple days to have it looked at.

What's interesting is if I take a screenshot these do not appear, however, if I take a picture with my phone (below), they are visible. Nothing is on the screen itself, been wiped with screen cleaner and microfiber cloth.

Thanks for your input. It's past the 14 days from when I purchased my MBP (it's been nearly 3 months), and as I mentioned, the issue just started yesterday, and the issue persists after working with initial Apple support. Therefore, I setup a Genius Bar appt. I fully expect apple will need to repair/replace the display under the h/w warranty.
