iPhone Dying At 50%

Over the past few weeks, whenever I fully charge my iPhone SE (2020) to 100%, it stays fully charged for about two hours of usage. Then it starts to drain normally and ends up dying at 40-50%. When it turns back on, it still says it’s at 50%. This has been happening every time. It’s also been charging abnormally fast (+4% every minute) and then staying at 99% for almost an hour.

Settings > Battery > BatteryHealth. What is "Maximum Capacity"? If less than 80%, the your indicated 50% is probably a real 5%-10%, and it is time to change the battery.

Other than the battery health, sometimes there can be premature battery failure that doesn't show up as a degraded battery. You might be able to ask for a diagnostic to see if it might have recorded a fault, but I'm thinking the battery probably needs to be replaced. If it's still under warranty, you might be able to get a free replacement.

My battery life seems fine. I think the only issue is my phone displaying the wrong percentage.

That can happen for any number of reasons, and it would be considered a fault covered under warranty (if yours is still valid). I've seen some pretty crazy things, including a Mac battery that was reporting a negative battery capacity.
