Desktop Outlook pop3 account. Want to sync outlook desktop calendar with iphone. Downloaded Microsoft Outlook app for iphone. Wants to add an IMAP account. So can't get past this requirement in order to check the "Sync" calendar box. I don't have IMAP settings. Need input as to how to sync the calendar to Iphone.

contact microsoft to get the settings.
If you want an IMAP account on your iPhone you don’t need to enter any settings, the phone will contact the Outlook server to get the settings. Just go to Settings/Mail/Accounts and tap to add the Outlook account. Alternatively, use the Outlook app, which can also figure it out.

I don't want an IMAP account on my iphone as I have POP3 both Iphone and desktop (Cox). But in using the downloaded Outlook app on the iphone it is asking for IMAP settings. I'm just trying to get to the Outlook app screen that allows me to check the box for "Sync" my desktop Outlook calendar to the Iphone.
