Apple TV wants sign in from old users

We rent out our house and allow users to create new accounts on our Apple TV. They are erased when we return. In the last few weeks, whenever the Apple TV is woken up it demands log in credentials from each of these accounts (They are all over two years old). I have to acknowledge each one. They no longer exist in the "accounts" section of settings. How do I get out of this endless loop?

It probably means that the old accounts were used to install one or more apps, and those apps won’t update without the matching account credentials. To solve this, delete these apps, and re-install with your own account (if needed/wanted).

Else reset to factory settings to begin again with a clean slate.
