i was interrupted while pairing my airtag to my phone and since then the airtag isnt showing up on my phone; what do i do?

I just bought a homepod mini and i am finding it difficult to setup.

See the Press the top of HomePod to reset it section of Reset HomePod - Apple Support and follow the steps carefully as given.
