Monterey OS and Pixma MG7120

I recently purchased an iMac with Monterey OS. I am trying to navigate to getting my printer to use the scan operation but it doesn't give me the option to scan. Can someone help me?

iMac, OS X 10.11

The Canon MG7120 is AirPrint compatible so doesn't need any drivers. Remove it from the System/Printers & Scanners preference pane and close the System Preferences. Reopen the System Preferences and add the printer back with the AirPrint or wireless option.

If the scanner has a menu window you may have to log into your WiFi network from it before it will connect with your Mac.
