face id not working after screen change

Was it an OEM screen assembly replaced by Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider? Occasionally they might not use their equipment to reset the Face ID components if they somehow lose connection with the logic board. Some aftermarket fixes don't have a problem if the Face ID components don't lose contact, but there are no guarantees.


If it's aftermarket, you're not going to get this fixed without going to Apple or an AASP and getting an OEM screen assembly replacement. They simply won't reset it with an aftermarket replacement.
