When I use the audio track, there's cracking sound

It occurs when clicking on the audio track of the project being played & play, pause the project.

Is there a solution?

Audio clicks and pops with FCPX / Ventura? I'm reposting this, because I posted it in the wrong forum and don't expect an answer. Apologies for miss-posting. Constant audio clicks? I'm still on the last Itel version of MacBook Pro, running Ventura 13.5.2. I've got 64 GB of memory, 2.4 GHz 8-Core Intel, and AMD Radeon Pro 8GB. I notice FCPX and Ventura are pokey together, FXPX taking a long time to load, and quit. And there is very often a lag between click and result. And the audio tracks are often very very clicking and popping. We're talking one track here, not a whole bunch. I'm wondering if this has come up for anyone else, and if there might be some kind of solution -- both to the slowness of FCPX and the audio clicking. It all feels like the software has superseded the hardware here. All ears ... Ben

mac sound slider I'm getting a new weird thing when I use the sound volume slider on the mac touch bar. When I touch it, an animation comes on the screen and I have to hold a little white target over the animated slider and what for it to load fully before I can manipulate the sound up or down. Has anyone else run into this?

Verify audio file format (16-bit, 48kHz) and that the audio level is not too hight.
