Update failure

I did an update on my iMac and now it is not starting up. When I turn it on all it is doing is showing that it is updating and nothing is happening

iMac Update 10.15.2 will not install. Hi, I've downloaded the update but it will not install. It just keeps giving an error message. Has anyone else run into this problem? If so, how did you fix it? The error message I get is "An error occurred while downloading the selected updates. Please check your internet connection and try again." Note that my internet is working and it seems to download the entire update then give me the meggage.
