Trying to get audio from built in mic & Airport Express (802.11n) simultaneously but no go. Been seeing questions on this, but no answers. I must be missing fundamentally.

Ok ok, finally figured it out with this button on Music app... seems to be working now.
Solved (?)... for me anyway... hope this helps for those who are experiencing similar issues.

... and I would add that my sound output is just set to headphones... not aggregate or multi-output. So as I initially thought, something fundamental in some setting somewhere else.
