Reset Apple TV BOX

My son passed away and I was given his Apple TV Box with Siri Remote. How do I reset it so I may use it with my account?

I’ve never set up an Apple Box before.

Okay, Well the link below is a great place to start then until you begin to become familiar with it:

I would also recommend that you ensure your Apple TV is running the most current TVOS. Here are the steps:

Open Settings on Apple TV.
Go to System > Software Updates and select Update Software. If an update is available, a message appears.
Select Download and Install to start downloading. During the update process, don't disconnect your Apple TV.
