Here is a built-in split-screen mode with a couple of apps, and maps is one.

Split screen with what? If you’re looking for something other than CarPlay showing, see if the infotainment system has an auxiliary input for audio and video, whether that’s AirPlay 2 (probably not) or (maybe) a BNC or S-Video or HDMI or other input, and connect that to your iPhone via a dongle.
