Apple 20W chargers failing

I have had 3 of the Apple 20W USB-C chargers Model # MHJA3AM/A or A2305 go bad on me when 1-static electricity happens when I pick up my phone, or 2-I leave it plugged in overnight, on a new iPhone 13 Pro Max, and iPhone", Will they re-design this to stop this from happening? Is there an updated charger?

I have just had my 3rd Apple 20W USB-C chargers go bad on again too because of the same issue... Static Electricity when picking up my phone on the the charger.. Major Design Defect!!

I have had 3 of the chargers and all 3 have gone bad now. I’ve had my iPhone 12 for just about a year. I am not sure why this happens. Very strange
