After being on hold and bounced around for over an hour, I was unable to resolve an issue re. an Apple TV promotion I was offered when I purchased my New iMac 24 mid Nov 21. I'd like to register a complaint on how I was "handled"

I was asked to find my proof of purchase . I found it incredulous that since I purchased new online from apple that they could not find that info themselves. Again after using chat and then being on phone for over an hour I was frustrated that as much info as apple has for me and my account that they could look this info up
Your proof of purchase is locatable under your Apple Store account and it’s your responsibility to provide it on request. Retrieve it and provide it to them so they can verify it. Good luck!
