I keep getting above message which stops me using iTunes

I have tried on numerous occasions to follow the path including updating my passwords and yet every time I still get the same message.

I have even shut down my Mac but on reopening it again asks me for a password.

How do I get this to work properly so I can access my music files?

iMac, macOS 10.12

It may be worth checking for malware with a free trial of Malwarebytes. You can also try opening iTunes with your Mac disconnected from the Internet, then see you can sign out of your account. You may then be able to reconnect to the Internet without iTunes getting stuck on a sign in prompt.
