Can't see AirPods battery percentage macOS Monterey 12.1

Is anyone else not seeing the AirPods battery percentage (either AirPods themselves or battery case) on macOS Monterey 12.1? Updated to it last night straight from Big Sur, and the ability to see charge on AirPods and case are just gone. Screenshot attached. Can't see it either from Bluetooth section or from Control Centre.

Hello Bear_Mikhail,

We see that you need help with your AirPods on Mac.

It looks like you're viewing the Bluetooth menu in the menu bar. Are you able to see the battery level if you open Bluetooth Preferences?

When testing this on our Mac we noticed that if click on a device to disconnect it and then reconnect it, it doesn't show the battery level until you close and reopen the Bluetooth menu. If you close and reopen the menu, do you see the battery level?

Hi, thanks for your response!

My iPhone is a little old (iPhone 6) and on its last legs and refuses to connect to the AirPods over the last few days, which is unfortunate. I can't connect it to anything besides the Mac, sadly.

And yes, I have restarted the Mac twice as well, but it didn't help at all, unfortunately, including in safe mode.
