New iCloud Terms and Conditions > Unable to sign out of Apple ID > System Preferences

I keep getting the pop-up to accept the new iCloud Terms & Conditions. "To use iCloud on this Mac, you must accept terms and conditions." There is no prompt to agree/opt-in to accept terms & conditions.

So I opted to sign out of Apple ID and re-try. I saw advice to turn off screen time, I did that successfully - restarted and still, nothing has changed. Any other method I can try?

Running Big Sur OS.

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, mswaru!

We understand you're having trouble accepting the terms and conditions on your Mac to use iCloud. We'd be happy to provide information to help you address this.

Check to see if you're able to accept them in another user account: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac

Once you're able to accept them, you can delete the account and revert back to your normal user account.

Have a great day!
