Skype Helper

How do I get rid of the popup that wants me to install a "new helper tool" for Skype? I'm running Monterey on a Mini

Mac mini, macOS 12.1

Problem with several app needed mic/cam which do not appear in Security & Policy Hi, Everything in title. I try to use Skype, Slack or Chrome (whereby.com) to make call but they don't appear in Security & Policy > microphone or camera so I can't allow them. I can't find a way to add them manually in this menu. If I try whereby.com with Safari it works like a charm. I'm new on mac and I made the upgrade to Catalina just before starting to use my mac to avoid know migration issues. In the beginning it worked but I have several setups with screens and USB headsets depending if I'm at home, work or in train. Mac always had problem to switch (specially with Slack) but I could find a way. Now it's totally screwed up for several days. I installed all my apps with brew. Thank for your help

Skype and Microsoft Office knocked out I recently upgraded to the new Catalina. Unknown to me, this knocked out Skype and most of my office programs. Has anyone figured out how to reestablish these programs? I figure it's another attempt by Apple to regulate programs used on Mac devices even though theirs will not do the same things.

Skype is a Microsoft product.

If the Helper tool update is not working, then you may need to uninstall and reinstall the latest Skype version.

Alma, you obviously didn't understand what I wrote. I have no need or intention to remove Skype. I asked about how to stop the 'new helper tool' from constantly requesting to install. Which you apparently read, but did not comprehend.
