I would like to know if there is ANY way to delete emails PERMANENTLY on my gmail account …I delete them from both trash and junk but they keep showing up! I am very frustrated .today it took me 3 hours! they keep recurring …what am I doing wrong!?

Try deleting your trash folder after deleting emails. Hope this helps!
