Garageband, steel drum

There is a nice Caribbean Steel Drum instrument in the Jam Pack 3 "Rhythm Section".

Apple is no longer selling the Jam Packs separately, and the old versions sold on DVD are very expensive and some of the installers are containing old PowerPC code, which does not run on newer Mac model. But the JamPacks are included in MainStage 2 and 3. I got myself all five JamPack by buying MainStage 3 for half the price of a single JamPack. MainStage is installing the JamPacks in the same location as GarageBand.

If you want to get yourself all JamPacks und Purchase MainStage 3, use the Sound Library Manager to download the Legacy Content. I particularly like, that the older software instrument loops from the older GarageBand versions are also included:
