I have installed the Ford Pass app on my iPhone and car but it required that I remove Apple Car Play. I can't use Waze now and I don't think I can play my music or get messages. Is there some way I can still have Ford Pass and Apple Car Play?

Then you don't get CarPlay on your Ford...

CarPlay functionality is built into the phone and can not be 'deleted' from there.
If you removed CarPlay support from the head unit in your car, only Ford can tell you how, or if, you can get it back...
Perhaps someone else who has a Ford and upgraded the modem in their car to 4G and Sync 3 and installed Ford Pass might have an answer. I like both Apps. It shouldn't be an either/or. Ford has not been helpful. I have sent an email complaining about their lack of assistance to the executive responsible for Ford Pass.
