Hi guys, yesterday my child throw away my wife's watch series 5, and the screen breaks, unfortunately, the Apple Care expired on Nov 2021, I just realized, do you think is any chance we can trade the damaged watch and get a new one paying the difference in the Apple store?

It won't be a brand new watch. It will be a like new refurbished watch, which is indistinguishable from new. Personally, I'd be more inclined to not get a replacement watch and opt instead for a new Series 7 watch which wouldn't be all that much more expensive and would be all new, with full warranty.
