How can I select multiple messages in Messages for deletion?

I get 10-15 Spam/Sex messages a day that I want to delete as a block vs. one at a time.

I'm running MacOS 12.0.1 and I'm being told that I can select multiple messages just by holding down the Command key, except it doesn't work in Messages. It works everywhere else in MacOS, but not here.

So, how do I select my multiple Spam messages a day and delete them with one Delete command?

Alternatively, is there any way to not have to confirm the delete in Messages? It's hitting delete twice that's driving me nuts.

The sender is pretty obnoxious, sending STOP results is a string of expletives. Blocking doesn't work because every number is unique.

I'm running Text Killer on my iPhone, but, that doesn't prevent the Spam from showing up on my MacOS computers.

This is making Messages a pretty miserable experience.

That works for messages, but you are trying to delete multiple Conversations. It doesn't work on conversations, only messages within a conversation.

Since those are each different conversations, you can only delete them one-at-a-time.

Nope.
