i am setting up my new iphone. I activated the phone and transferred the info from the previous iphone. The new phone will neither dial out ( receive call failed ) or received calls.

Did you insert a SIM in it from your carrier?

No sim to put in

Set up new iPhone and can’t send or receive calls

I moved data from damaged but working phone to new phone 12 Pro. I switched the SIM card. New phone keeps asking for damaged phone password which I chose as new phone password.

Im concerned about resent end-to-end encrypted data but how else do I provide password?
