I have unpaired my apple watch, which has disappeared from my phone. However, an error appeared, and the watch thinks it is is still paired. However, I cannot open it or erase it. All I can do is restart it. The watch does not appear in the app.

To unpair and erase watch and remove Activation Lock
From a web browser,sign in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.
Go to Find iPhone.
Click All Devices at the top of the screen.
Click your Apple Watch.
Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.
Click Remove from Account.
Then go here;
It doesn't appear in iCloud Find my devices either
