Can you tag someone in a iPhoto who's face is not recognized as a person? (example some one in profile)

I think I found where you were trying to send me.

Add someone to the People album

    1. Open a photo of the person that you want to add.
    2. Tap the Info button , then tap the face of the person with a question mark.
    3. Tap Tag With Name and type the person's name or tap the name if it shows up.
    4. Tap Next, then tap Done.

This doesn't help because the person I am trying to tag doesn't show up as a face with a question mark. I want to know how to tag someone who iPhoto doesn't see.

Good find!

This is Not an Option. I don't think you can. If is not recognized, then it wont take a photo. So, create an app yourself that does this, or recommend it to Apple. It's just not a feature of FaceTime or Face ID.

Recommending this to Apple:

Do your Part: You can recommend to Apple that they make this a feature of FaceTime or Face ID.  Apple won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what their customers prefer, and what changes to make in versions to come..

  1. Go Here: Feedback FaceTime - Apple
  2. Select: "Feature Request or Enhancement" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that you want this to be an option
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
