Is there a way to prevent automatic callback by touching the screen in notifications?

I just got my iPhone 13 (my first iPhone) and have an ongoing problem with the phone returning missed calls when I just want to see who called. If I touch the notification the phone returns the call and I do not want it to do that without my telling it to. I have seen other posts about this problem previously but have not seen a solution given. It annoys me a lot. Does anyone have a solution to this?

iPhone 12 running iOS 15.3.1-how do you disable the automatic callback feature from a lock screen call notification. I have disabled Face ID "return missed calls" but it does not affect this annoyance. Only option seems to be disable notifications (which defeats their purpose) rather than disable automatic callback.
