I have never found a need for any of these things you are asking about—

Anything that impedes air flow or compromises the tight tolerances of the closed Mac is not advised.

This is my 5th MBP over several decades with no issues.

Sure use a laptop bag/ backpack / soft sleeve for transport makes sense for hauling it around.

Putting anything between the screen and the keyboard has a high rate of applying bad pressure to the display ... I am even very careful closing the cover to be sure I do not twist the display or squeeze it.

Non of those items are required and some may even cause problems with heat dissipation and screen damage.
