Tiktok reinstalled by itself

I downloaded tiktok a bit ago and then deleted it. Now whenever I download another app tiktok gets downloaded along side that app. I have automatic download off and my phone isn’t jailbroken. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Hello Quest1on,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We've reviewed your question and it looks like you have an app that keeps installing itself. It's understandable that you'd want this resolved, so allow us to assist with that. IN order to better understand why this may be happening, please answer the following questions:

  • Has your iPhone been restarted recently?
  • Was the TikTok app deleted for sure or just archived?
  • Is your iPhone managed by another person or group, like a school or employer?
  • Do you use any other Apple devices that share the same Apple ID, and if so, is the app on that other device?
  • Is your iPhone updated to the most recent iOS version?
