2021 14in MBP Tiny, growing chips on display

Almost one month ago today I bought the new 14' MBP. I noticed a tiny (like tiny, tiny, smaller than a pixel) dot on the display when I received the device that was only visible when the display was off. Now it looks like it's gotten bigger (still very tiny, but now extraordinarily noticeable) and has a second adjacent to it. I can only imagine that they were preexisting chips that have somehow gotten worse, though my computer takes virtually no abuse (lives on my desk or in a padded protective backpack).

Has anyone else had this issue?
