Safari Pdf lag iphone 13 pro max

The issue here is very clear. If you try (in iPhone 13 pro) to open a pdf on the web using Safari you will experience extreme lag when scrolling. The lag disappears if you switch off the “Limit Frame Rate” in Settings > Accessibility > Motion.

It has nothing to do with safari cache or other things. Somehow, the 120Hz display rate is the problem.

Please fix it. It is frustrating to get a new iPhone (coming from 8 plus which works flawlessly) and get far worse experience for such a simple and everyday activity like “reading pdfs on the web with safari”.

Sure there are workarounds, such as “store the pdf on iCloud and read it with preview” but this isn’t a sustainable solution.

I hope you get the point and… the complaint.
