Photos on Mac not Playing Videos

Videos only show up as thumbnails in Photos library but cannot be played. There is no "play option" i.e. white triangle to click on to play it. The videos are available if I right click Photos Library and click on "Show Package Contents". However, they are all mixed up and with different names. open Also, when I try to move them to an external drive, I get a message ("The export operation failed to create a file for the photo identified below" Unknown error (50). How can I watch and move my videos?
