Pink screen of death

Good afternoon Im a bit concerned that apple fails to even recognize this as a serious issue. Can anyone report if they received a replacement or if apple fixed the problem. This is my first Mac and I have to say apples reputation of better hardware is falling extremely short.

Great questions, and we'd like to help answer them all as best we can.


While we're unable to answer questions behind the reasoning of why Apple does things a certain way, we do have a way to submit any feedback to them using their Product Feedback link.


Upon researching this, we were able to find the current Apple Service Programs, but none describe a 'pink screen of death'.


Moving forward with troubleshooting your issue, are we correct in understanding that your Mac only shows a pink screen with nothing else?


If that's right, what steps have you already taken, and when did this first start?
