I would like to modify the display name of the emails I sent, in Mac OS X El Capitan (2015) but when I go to Mail menu at the top of the screen and choose Preferences, my "Full Name" is grayed out. How do I edit this?

"If you want to change the name that’s shown in your messages, or create an email alias, click the Email Address pop-up menu, then choose Edit Email Addresses"

Then sign in
After that click on appleid
Change your email and Done !
